Exams and tests over baby! That just means... I get to stone and slack and blur all over again! Yahooooo! I've been told I think too much. But seriously, I don't think much at all. That's probably why I'm getting dumber. And talking about getting dumber, check out the singapore education system No offence but I seriously think we are getting dumber. Yeah fk hell we are learning more in schools and all now but what's the fking point if they are just going to feed us everything. Every piece of information and knowledge is in the books. There isn't much to figure out and we all get dumber. And to think that we have everything now. We have nothing. NOTHING. Just because we are given all the information and knowledge, we don't really get to find out why and how. I mean... Everything is there already. It just makes us lazy. Which could lead to dumbness... I guess.

Now that I'm not in the ranting mood anymore, I'm just going to crap around! Wooohoooo! Nah.

Emo Man! Nope. None. Nil. Null. Naught. Nothing. Nonexsistent. Hmm. Ok maybe nonexistent isn't exactly the best way to describe the no ideas for new Emo Man strips. Seems a little too strong a word. But still it has some truth to it. The new ideas has no existence Why? Simply, because there just isn't any hahas.

As for the fanarts and sketches I usually post in my gallery, I have one new one but my new printer/scanner thing can't seem to scan pencil stuff. 3B or 4B pencil and the scanner can't even pick up anything. It's really wierd. And what happened to my old one? Well, it also was the 3-in-1 printer/fax/scanner combination kinda thing and the printer part isn't working. So my mum got a new one. Fine, she didn't buy it. It was free. Which is probably why it sucks. Heck. I'll find a way to get it up anyway.

Anyway, I went to watch Wanted yesterday. It was cool and all but the effects were overused. The jokes were kinda corny but still funny. Overall it's quite an okay movie but I wouldn't recommend to watch at the cinema, if you know what I mean and I think you do hahas. I feel like posting spoilers but nah. Ok fine... Jolie did not have.... NOT TELLING YOOUUUUU! HA! Eat that! okkaaayyy...

I don't think I've told anybody yet but somebody gave me a ukulele hahas. It looks nice and small lol. Sounds funny too lol. I got no idea whether should I learn some basics lol. Hmm. Maybe I should. Maybe I shouldn't. But I don't think I'll be starting on it anytime soon. Oh yeah, I forgot to say this... IT'S WHITE! HA! Dam, now I sound racist >.<

Hmm... I'm listening to plenty of Mr Big lately. Paul Gilbert rocks! Hahas. Oh and I'm checking out some of the punk rock stuff I used to like so much. It sounds really pathet now compared to all the other prog stuff I've been listening to. But it's still cool, and still has the rush and all >.< Ok fine, I've just been listening to only one punk band, Blink 182. The simplicity of the songs is really more like a breather from all the heavy, technical stuff I usually listen to hahas. Oh well.

Dream Theater rocks Have you ever listened to a particular band at least 5 times a week, it may be different songs but can you listen to a single band a lot and still not get sick of it? Dream Theater seems like the only band that I've been listening to for a few years now almost everyday and I've never got tired of them. I can't believe Dream Theater is never played on Singapore Radio before. Oh well, everybody got their own taste in music (be it lousy or not ). I'm still sticking with prog music either way hahas.

Ok! Time to put on my thinking cap and TRY to type out something that will hopefully get people thinking... Or at least get myself thinking... I realise I don't think much nowadays... And that isn't good... Because it could mean that I might get dumber... Somehow... And maybe type funny sentences that ends with three dots... Exactly like what I'm typing now...

Hahas, now that I got the " ... " thing off my chest, I really wonder if people are actually good or bad? I mean, are you born good, bad or neutral? If people are actually good, how does the evil part come about? And if we're all evil, then how would we actually have any influences that can turn our lives the other way around and be good instead? Then if we were born neutral, and assuming we have free will to choose whether to commit good or evil, why is it that people want to choose evil? If we are the first generation of people on earth, with no generation before us to influence us to do either good or bad, would we actually still do bad anyway?

I actually believe everybody is born "good". Let's say maybe 55% good and 45% bad. So we're pretty much neutral but we lean towards the good side. I believe that even the most evil of people have some good in them. But then again, have you seen infants fighting over a teddy bear or some toy before? Let's say they are about 1 to 2 years old and probably too young to know the difference between good and bad, and they are fighting over the toy because he wants it. It's really like saying he puts himself above others. That isn't exactly wrong but is it good? I have a really comfortable life, with good friends and family. So who am I to judge anything?

Oh, and another thing. Is killing in self-defence wrong? What is it that draws the line between right and wrong? I don't see how instinct can be judged as right or wrong. Not saying we're animals or anything, but using the example of animals, if a lioness was to protect her cubs and killed the hyena or some other animal that eats baby cubs, would it be right or wrong? Yeah, of course people would argue that animals can't really judge between right or wrong and they act on instinct, but if you were in a situation where you had to kill or be killed, would it be ok to kill anyway? It really is a dog-eat-dog world. Live to kill, kill to live. The instinct itself probably isn't good or bad, right or wrong, but it's the action that makes it right or wrong isn't it? But if you can THINK through your actions before doing it then it wouldn't be instinct anymore now would it?

Ahh, I'm tired lol. I may be thinking a bit now but the examples still suck, the question still sucks and everything I typed up there sucks. (except the dream theater part )

Hmm, I haven't uploaded any pictures lately cause I seem to have lost the drawing mood hahas. I can't seem to draw properly unless the "mood" is there. If I drew anyway, it would just turn out crappy like quite a lot of those drawings in the gallery. Anyway, I don't really know what to draw next so even if I had the mood, I wouldn't be able to draw anything >.< Unless I do those free hand copy sketches again, which is lame.

Maybe I lost the "mood" because of all the stupid projects and reports I have to do now. I can't believe that people say that polytechnic education would be "slack". IT ISN'T. But then again, I could be the only one who bothers to do the stuffs anyway. So it would be slack if I decide not to do the homework, not to prepare for the tutorials, not to bother about the reports etc.

I wonder how everybody from my Secondary school is doing. I kinda miss secondary school >.<

I'm listening to Dream Theater now And it totally rocks hard I just can't get this amount of hype and satisfaction from other bands like Simpe Plan =x (HAHAHA. OK! I'm going to rant about MTV first. I don't know how true this is but I'm going to say my piece anyway Ok, so as many of you would know, MTV doesn't play any heavy metal anymore, or rap-rock (Limp Bizkit) or whatever that used to be hits some time ago (ok, quite long ago). I mean, sure, plenty of people follow trends and there's obviously trends in music. But why limit themselves to playing only the "trend" and nothing else? If this is the case, then it isn't MUSIC TV anymore. It's just pop-rock TV. There are probably as many people who do not follow the music trend as there is to those following the trend. So why can't we have more metal on the radio? lol. It's like the heaviest stuff I ever heard on radio is Linkin Park

Why is there no heavy metal on MTV? Is it because it's no longer "popular"? Is it because of the bad influences it has on the young listeners? I don't know. I only know that if it's because of "bad influence", then many other bands should be removed as well. Maybe like Simple Plan (haha, wj this has nothing to do with you lol it's just that it's a dam good example). Don't anybody think Simple Plan has a bad influence on teenagers? Yeah, they play happy tunes all the time, they do not sound like they have any bad influence at all. But seriously, ever seen the lyrics? If my memory serves me correctly, they have plenty of songs which talks about giving up, suicide and all that negative thoughts. It's like a happy song with suicide lyrics. PACKAGING. Fast food looks good to eat doesn't it? Yeah, sure looks tasty on the outside but it's one of those things that increases the chance of getting CANCER. Hmm. But really, metal do have those violent, vulgar lyrics and it does make SOME people go wild. Oh well. Anyway, death metal shouldn't be a problem because half the time you won't even know what the heck is the guy saying lol. But the music is cool and that's what matters to MTV isn't it?

And another thing, why must MTV limit their songs to 3-4 min? Because of that, there is like no progressive rock/metal stuff on radio. The only "prog" band I heard on radio is Muse. But then the song played (i think it's called Starlight) isn't proggy at all >.< which is stupid lol. Seriously, why would they leave out Dream Theater, Queensryche, Opeth, Scar Symmetry, Porcupine Tree etc. I mean even though their songs may be on the long side but IT'S BLOODY AWESOME. hahas. Ahhh screw it.

Emo man updates! Nothing LOL. Sorry emo man fans. Just no idea how to draw the strips. I do have some stupid ideas but I can't seem to think of a way to put it in 3 boxes and make it funny. But then again, I got no idea what is it that make people think something is funny. I mean it's like what's funny to me may not be funny to someone else. It's like some of my friends could watch Tom and Jerry and laugh their butts of but when it comes to Family Guy or South Park jokes they simply can't laugh. I don't think that a mouse closing the door on a cat is very funny at all... I think you get my drift.

I've been reading some Shina Dark lately. Really stupid manga with really stupid situations but it's funny. Or at least it's funny to me. It has all the action, adventure, pr0n and wdv stupid stuff thrown into one huge melting pot. And what you get is Shina Dark. Well not exactly but I'm too tired to explain.

And talking about reading, I've borrowed the "OXFORD Dictionary of Euphemisms" from the library like 2 weeks ago. And I must say it was a pretty fascinating read. And now I have the power and arsenal of words to make any normal conversation to become a horny/dirty/vulgar one, and here's the best part, WITHOUT THE OTHER PARTY EVEN KNOWING. LOL. Ok. And I never knew that there are so many words in the english language that we say everyday have meanings that are totally different. Something as ordinary as to "enjoy Her Majesty's hospitality" means to be put in prison. And who would ever know that to "make nice-nice" actually means to copulate. So go check it out should you see the book

Hmm.. and my music preference is becoming gay lol. Ok not really. But there are exceptions lol. What I really like to listen to is... Hmm I don't quite understand myself >.< But if I were to try to describe the music I like it would be Dream Theater. LOL. Ok, it has to be powerful, complicated (yeah, I kinda like it really messy and complex), heavy (yeah! it needs a certain amount of aggression and balls ), melodic... hmm I think it's still much easier to understand if I just said Dream Theater. Basically I like Progressive music. And Progressive music branches out a whole lot. It could be Progressive-Death Metal (Scar Symmetry, Opeth), Progressive Rock/Metal (Porcupine Tree, Queenscryche, Dream Theater), Progressive/Jazz Fusion (Cynic), Power-Progressive Metal (Theocracy).... Well I know quite a number of progressive bands but I got no idea what category of prog they fit into lol. Just to name a few more, Marillion, Dominici, Rush, Frost, Radiohead, Muse etc. Oh yeah, back to the part on exceptions (LOL, I sidetrack too much lol), recently, oh wait not recently in fact only last night, me friend was telling me that he was going jamming tomorrow and the band is jamming Paramore songs. So I was like, I got no idea how the heck Paramore sounded but they seem to be getting famous so I thought I'll have a listen. And yes, I thought it was kind of nice. It's like totally lacking balls, and totally lacking the technical aspect of songs that I like but somehow it sounded quite good >.< So there, ONE exception. I don't know if there would be more but I can only wait till then to find out lol.

Yes, I'm back! I'm back! I'm back! I'm back! I'm back! Not like I've been gone or anything but I'm back with the uploading woohoo. Finally got the scanner and everything to work again. In other words, thanks wj for the scans and I don't need you anymore LOL. Joking.

So I've submitted I think 4 or 5 pictures by now and reuploaded my Mercenary and Rikku pics again because the last time I used my camera phone to take the pictures and it wasn't very clear. So now that I got it scanned, err, it just looks better lol. Currently taking a break from editting the Emo Man strips (that's right! new emo man for everybody!) before I upload them. Then after Emo Man is done, it's time to edit all the other pics I want to upload but couldn't. (edit as in adjusting the brightness, resizing and stuff like that. NO CG lol) Resizing is tiring. No, it's true. You have to move the mouse and click on the resize button. Waaaayyyyy troublesome. lol.

Anyway, I haven't drawn much recently. And I don't think I'll be drawing much anytime soon. Too tired. Oh, and tired is just a very convenient excuse. Really. For example, Wig Jie goes "hey, wanna touch wieners?", you can go "ah, tired". Or maybe if Wig Jie goes something like "let's go read books on philosopher's wieners!" you can simply reply "too tired". Easy and gets the job done. AND it's also very cool to use an excuse that doesn't really make much sense in any situation and still get away with it. It's like lunch time and somebody says "lets go eat somewhere", you can just go "tired". It really isn't much of an excuse. It's like, how can anybody be tired to eat? (i'm not talking abt working for 24 hours and then go eat btw) Oh, and I just realised that I didn't really make any sense explaining the "tired" excuse but I'm too tired to change it.

Been listening to Dream Theater recently and I found out that Disc 1 of the Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence album totally rocks. Never really listen to that disc but listened to it like 2 days ago and it PWNZ0RZ. And what's with the PWNZ0RZ thing? And all the OMGWTFBBQ and the HAX0RZ thing? I mean just spell it right (or try ). Not only does it look quite stupid, it doesn't make the word any "cooler" than a 5 year old.(yes, if you're 5 and below you are not cool at all. Maybe if you're 6 you can join the club cause 6 is cool lol. KIDDING.)

Did quite a number of drawings over the pass few weeks but no scanner so no pics uploaded. Had a chance to upload them all on tues I think or was it mon? Idk. Went over to wj's place but forgot to bring my drawings along to scan. The amount of material is just "snowballing". I should probably get wj to help scan real soon. Or else (dum, dum, duuuummmmm)

I can't really keep it a secret anymore so this is what happened. I finally managed to complete Minesweeper on Expert mode!!!! YAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! WOOHOOOOO!!!!! YAY!!! Ok, party time is over! Work begins now! lol. Whatever man, whatever. (I love talking to my computer, it's just so darn attentive)

Hmm... And I wonder what's happening next week.... Oh yeah! Dream Theater is coming to town and I'm so going to be there! Woohooooo! Tis the season to be jolly, falalalala lalalala! And may you all have a blessed Chinese New Year. No, that sounds wrong. Heck.

Btw, I'm going to upload my minesweeper score pic to my scraps like I always do. Notice there's a change in the beginner and intermediate scores. Why? Cause I reformatted my com last month and these are the new and improved, updated scores 5 seconds for beginner! Ha! Beat that! Haha, probably millions beat that crappy score. Even I had a better timing than that before. My beast, I mean best, for beginner was 3 seconds bu that was before I bothered taking screenshots of my scores (and obviously on a different com).
